AL-6XN sheets is a variant of stainless steel that has nickel (24%), chromium (22%) and molybdenum (6.3%) along with other trace elements such as nitrogen. Some of its properties are given below.

It has a wide variety of applications. It is used in desalination and water piping systems. Because of resistance to chloride ions, it is widely used in marine environments.
